Graduate Media Internship - Environmental Science

£19,540 per annum pro rata – Four month contract, Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Oxfordshire                        

Make a difference to our world while gaining press and PR skills at one of the UK’s largest environmental science organisations. Our busy press office deals with a variety of issues from ladybird invasions to floods to climate change modelling. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic public relations/journalism/communications graduate with exceptional IT skills who is interested in science communication and new media.  

Responsibilities will include talking with scientists to research news and feature stories, establishing a blog on our new website, helping to develop evaluation practices, and researching journalist contact databases to help us reach new audiences. 

Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and an enquiring mind are a must.
